Carmel Sertoma Club Kicks Off Registration for "PuttAway for TherAplay" Event
June 1, 2009, Carmel, Indiana - Sertoma Club of Carmel kicks off registration for the 3rd annual PuttAway for TherAplay which will be held on August 8, 2009 at Pirates Cove off 96th street in Carmel Indiana.
The TherAplay fundraising event is the signature event for the Sertoma Club of Carmel and contributes greatly to the unique outpatient clinic rehabilitation for children with challenges such as cerebral palsy. This therapy has been found to help children improve motor skills and achieve better mobility. It provides these children a foundation for developing life skills through innovative therapies in a safe and caring environment, including equine-assisted physical and occupational therapies.
Sponsorships and players are needed to make this event a success and Sertoma Club of Carmel requests all those who want to participate register early and have made registering easier by including a registration page at the website, carmelsertoma.org.
This event will hold 250 players and the tickets can be purchased individually or in foursomes. Lunch will be included for all the players.
