Annual PuttAway for TherAplay: Children's TherAplay Foundation,
Fundraiser, Sertoma Club of Carmel
The Sertoma Club of Carmel performs tasks in the community to raise funds to donate to our Sponsor,
The Children's TherAplay Foundation. The Children's TherAplay Foundation (TherAplay) is a unique outpatient rehabilitation clinic for children with special needs. Their talented team incorporates the movement of horses into physical and occupational therapy sessions.
The annual PuttAway for TherAplay, held each August, is rapidly
becoming our signature event. On August 8th, 2009, moms, dads and their
kids put together foursomes and came out to play in our 3rd annual miniature golf outing that raised money for a worthwhile cause.
All proceeds from the event went to the unique TherAplay outpatient
rehabilitation clinic for children located in Carmel.
Everyone had a great day, and we all look forward to next year's
PuttAway event. Thanks to Pirate's Cove, a fantastic 36-hole
miniature golf facility that hosted this great fundraising event.

TherAplay's mission is to provide children who have special needs a foundation for developing life skills through innovative therapies in a safe and caring environment, including equine-assisted physical and occupational therapy.
